1. Website & Church Tools

Our website and church management tools (including ChurchTrac-hosted features such as giving, forms, directories, registrations, and messaging preferences) are provided for church communication, ministry coordination, and member care. You agree to use these services lawfully and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, data, or system.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials you create.
• You agree not to submit unlawful, harmful, or abusive content through our forms or communications.
• We may suspend or restrict access when necessary to protect our congregation, systems, or legal compliance.

2. Text Messaging Program Terms (SMS/MMS)

Magnolia Church of God of Prophecy may offer one or more SMS/MMS messaging programs (“Text Program”) to provide church announcements, service updates, event reminders, ministry alerts, and other communications you request.

3. Consent, Opt-In, and Opt-Out

By opting in to the Text Program, you consent to receive SMS/MMS messages at the mobile number you provide. Opt-in may occur through a website form checkbox, a paper form, or another clear sign-up method.

• Consent is required before we send programmatic messages.
• Consent is not a condition of giving, volunteering, membership, or participation.
• You may opt out anytime as described in Section 5.

4. Message Frequency, Costs, and Delivery

• Message Frequency: Varies (based on church calendar and the updates you request). We strive to keep messaging reasonable and ministry-relevant.
• Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.
• Delivery: Message delivery is subject to your mobile carrier’s service area, network availability, and device compatibility. Delays or failures may occur.

Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy. For messaging compliance and pastoral integrity, we do not sell personal information. We do not share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data for third-party marketing.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

• Carrier Disclaimer: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• No Emergency Service: The Text Program is not intended for emergency communications. If you have an emergency, call 911.
• Eligibility: You must be the authorized user of the mobile number you enroll.
• Use Case Integrity: Messaging content and purpose must remain consistent with the program description and applicable carrier requirements.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect ministry needs, system changes, or compliance requirements. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this page. Your continued participation in the Text Program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
